I get a minimum of 1 toxic message a day whenever I get on OW and Destiny. My entire squad can be playing (6 total people) and one of them can teabag but ILL GET THE MSG getting yelled at. I'm the only female in my group so dudes online always direct their aggression on me.

One dude even messaged me saying "you're only allowed to play mercy or dva because I'm a woman". I can't express how embarrassing and irritating it is to be shit on in a message in front of my teammates when all I am doing is playing the game.

Funniest thing is you can't tell online if someone is female, male, or other. No one should be harassed and people shouldn't direct sexist comments at people at all. I hear way too much of the "oh look at this white knight" when a supposed male defends a supposed female.

Happens often to me and my friends when I get harassed. So it's sad to see that decent people get told to shut their mouths
