So far no Twitter employees have been deactivated — even those who’ve publicly resigned. Musk and his team only collected the list of “yes’s” — employees who said they want to be part of Twitter 2.0. They’re still trying to track who is out.

We’ve seen messages from former Twitter techs encouraging remaining techs to muck up the software. We’ve seen tech people behaving terrible openly towards guy that’s writing payroll checks. So yeah. I would not be surprised if it were happening.

During employee terminations, normal protocol is to eliminate access to all systems and facilities immediately to prevent nefarious actions. Given the scale of terminations at Twitter recently, sometimes more drastic precautions are necessary.
