What does Apple use machine learning for except maybe fraud detection? Apple Music's recommendation engine is objectively terrible. AppStore recommendations seem to be curated. Siri suggestions are basic. It sucks to lose talent but hardly a huge hit for Apple.

Apple photos have object and people detection. That is ML. They are probably doing user profiling based on the apps installed in the phone. Not to mention marketing and tons of other stuff.
