My involvement with @BristolCouncil & @SustransSW One Path initiative through their consultation process is really concerning. There *ARE* national guidance that @transportgovuk have issued (LTN 1/12 & 2/08). A mixed use path can handle 180 users per metre. 1/
As a linear park, the path is accessible #greenspace for areas with large #healthinequalities. Additionally, #pavementparking inhibits use of many pavements in Easton for #walking and mobility scooters. Pavements on Church Road have some of the worst #airquality in Bristol.

Then your argument that better cycle infra away from the B2B also fails. People use the B2B because it is amazing but the shared path design is not coping with the peak users per hour. Segregation where possible would help immensely.
