The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Zion from noon through this evening. The Flash Flood Potential is PROBABLE, which means some slot canyons are EXPECTED to experience flash flooding. The Narrows and other slots canyons are not recommended.

Due to significant damage, the following trails remain closed until further notice: -Upper Emerald Pools -Kayenta Trail -West Rim Trail from Grotto to Cabin Spring (includes access to Angels Landing from the Grotto). It is too soon to estimate when each trail will reopen.

National Weather Service has changed today's flash flood rating from Possible to Probable. This means that some slot canyons are expected to experience flash floods. Moisture is coming from the north, increasing the potential for storms after 2pm with a higher chance of flooding.

Water has been restored at the Temple of Sinawava comfort station. Restrooms are open and filling station is functioning.

Flash Flood Warning issued for Zion National Park. Warning in effect until 7:30 PM. The Narrows and all slot canyons are closed until 2 hours after the warning is over.

Currently there is no water at the Temple of Sinawava comfort station. There is no water in the restrooms or at the filling station. Efforts are being made to bring in porta potties. It is unknown how long this problem will persist.

The Zion-Mount Carmel Highway, connecting to State Route 9, between Canyon Junction and the East Entrance is now open for through traffic.

The Zion-Mount Carmel Highway through Zion NP is now open.

Riverside Walk has reopened. The West Rim from the Grotto, Kayenta, and Upper Emerald Pools Trails remain closed.

Zion Riverside Walk Trail is now open. The free Zion Shuttle is running to shuttle stop # 9.

Riverside Walk, West Rim from the Grotto to Cabin Spring , Kayenta, and Middle and Upper Emerald Pools trails are closed.

Flash Flood Warning is in effect for all of Zion National Park. The Narrows and all slot canyons are closed until at least 11:15pm.

Current trail conditions: The Riverside Walk, West Rim from the Grotto, Kayenta, and Upper Emerald Pools Trails remain closed.

The Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is now open to Big Bend. Shuttles are turning around at Big Bend and are not stopping at the Grotto stop. Bicycles may ride on all of the Scenic Drive.

Flood damage and rock falls have caused multiple closures in Zion. Currently, the only trails available to hike in Zion Canyon are the Lower Emerald Pools, Grotto to Zion Lodge, Sand Bench, Pa'rus, and Watchman trails.

The West Rim trail from the Grotto is closed due to a large trail washout in Refrigerator Canyon. This means no access to through hiking on the West Rim or to Angels Landing from the Grotto. Hikers can still access the Rim section of the trail from Lava Point.

Due to extensive flood damage and rock falls, the Kayenta Trail and Middle and Upper Emerald Pools Trails are closed until further notice. The Lower Emerald Pools trail from the Emerald Pools Trailhead to just before the waterfall is open.

Currently, due to rock falls and flood damage, no pedestrians are allowed past the Grotto and all trails north of the Grotto are closed. We will update as we get more information.

Due to storm damage, the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is closed at the Grotto and work is being done on the Scenic Drive that is causing delays for the shuttles. Shuttles are running but are turning around at the Grotto. We will update as conditions change.
