  Agree 100% As someone who is a moderate, the damage to conservatism is tremendous, and he has moved it to a Party of extreme with hate and fear. This is not good for our Country. He is damaging free trade, relationship with allies and the stability to western alliance.

  John, this is such a great and perfect response. And I am a Democrat. Now to be fair, I am a conservative Democrat; perhaps “conservative” has come to mean people who care about the long term, rather than short term expediency. Anyway, extremely well said, very much worth reading
