Before The Witcher 3 was announced (Feb 2013), the series as a whole had sold around 5 million units. Now the series is over 50 million, with The Witcher 3 contributing over 28 million units alone.

Here is a look at quarterly revenue for CD Projekt Red. Launch of The Witcher 3 was a record quarter for the company. Sales have been steady since, peaking with new expansions + release of Switch version last year.

Tbh I’m surprised it’s not more than 28. I thought it would be 45mil for Witcher 3. Don’t know anyone who hasn’t played it, conversely dunno anyone who’s played the first two.
