While a 'Netflix for Games' can certainly work in the gaming market, it is extremely unlikely it'll outright replace traditional free to play / premium game distribution models. Consuming games is not like consuming TV. Subscription models can grow the market if done right.

Because if the game leaves game pass you no longer can play it. So if you have game pass you get a discount on the games you actually buy to keep. Games like Forza and Crackdown 3 launched on game pass but could be preordered for a lower price and you keep it if it leaves GP
