Someone above made the point: if auto generated prove to perform worse than custom, so vid get less views, less money, are YT going to compensate those people for the lost revenue, however small it is?

No, YT won't...just like YT doesn't compensate me if it starts favoring longer videos. It's their platform, I have licensed my content to them. I agree communication is weird and difficult and could be done better.

They do it literally do research on our content all day every day. You've gotta give them credit for making the effort to communicate but they still fail to recognize where their audience is. Their audience is not on a buried forum. At least tweet a link to the post or something if you're going to keep it there.
