Winks, nods, favors, and promises to cross-endorse--or even the rumors of these--are no way to start off the next tenure of the next AG of New York. We've had enough scandal. Let's do this right.

Let's be real: if candidates for AG are going to Albany to beg for votes for an interim appointment, how many of them are telling lawmakers that they want to reopen the Moreland Commission? How many are promising to investigate their big real estate donors?
