I think the answer is pretty weak. But to be fair, what exactly is the threshold for contributing before you are disqualified from consideration? Does that apply only to candidates or the party? I don't think donations can be the sole qualification or disqualification.

$1M for a EU Ambassadorship seems like a nice quid pro quo. But Mulvaney told us to “get over it” “It happens all the time” If that’s the case, America has a lot of work to do.

I don’t have a problem banning big donors from these jobs. But I like having some outsiders in these positions. I respect FS pros, but other voices can be useful...

Ironically #Trump offering ambassadorships etc to those not equipped to handle the job is playing a large role in revealing truth about, not only Trump’s corruption, but the systemic corruption in our gov’t Trump’s stupidity may just be useful if we survive all this #Bernie2020
