    Climate change deniers, when they're not just rich people protecting their own wealth, are people who've been thoroughly duped by anticommunist propaganda. They don't disagree with the science, they see the implication of leftist politics and reflexively reject it.

    While I do understand this sentiment, climate change denial makes a lot more sense if you see it as a natural product of the Red Scare.

    climate change deniers fascinate me. imagine believing 98% of the world's climate scientists joined together in a conspiracy to get you to *checks notes* treat the earth better
