UPDATE: After nearly 12 hours of being ‘locked up’ in this manner, these #Migrantworkers now released.
They’re now under quarantine, some have been kept in home quarantine too. Bihar govt now says it’s making all arrangements for their food and medical support.

@PMOIndia the harshest things about the measures is the incompetence of their implementation & the insensitivity of the government officials by treating Indian citizens as less than human.
These cries are not of a healthcare crisis but of a humanitarian crime India is guilty of.

Too numbed to react. On one side criminals being paroled & on other migrant workers jailed like under quarantine !
No social distancing, just quarantine good work. So even if one has corona what is the purpose of quarantine? Let everyone get infected, a government should have a clear idea, lacking it will welcome new problems.
