@TeamYouTube what would you recommend I do as a starting out channel? Any tips or guidelines to follow to be successful?

When starting out, you need to (usually) stick to one topic (eg. Gaming, vlogging, meme review, etc.) This means if someone finds your content and enjoys that type of content, they will find more, and be more likely to subscribe.

Comment on other people's videos. Don't ask for subscribers, but just leave good, funny comments, and you may attract some traffic to your channel.

You'll also want to maintain a dedicated upload schedule. I know from experience that uploading on any random day will be a very bad move for maintaining a fanbase.

Well I was asking YouTube what they think, but thanks for the advice.

(YouTube on Twitter is mainly an answer bot in case of issues, lucky if a community manager sees that tweet and answer)
