The aftermath of the Nagorno-Karabakh War is a fascinating and viscious rivalry... Fun fact: Last year the commander of the IFB (a coalition of foreign leftist groups fighting with YPG) died in Raqqa. During the NK War he left Turkey to fight with the Armenians (he was one).

As I said, Armenian. Don´t remember what party he was in, but I think it was either MLKP or TIKKO, the armed wing of an underground Maoist party. Don´t know anything else about him.

Those are Turkish parties, tho minorities do play a large part in them, for obvious reasons.

Well, they are fighting a war of national liberation, so it is obviously fought along national lines - a Turk fighting with a P* K* K* (don´t want to attract turkbots) affiliated org is viewed as a traitor by most Turks, a Kurd working with the gov is a collaborator...
