We eventually concluded the game must be a million hours given 3x discs and how we didn’t seem to be anywhere near the end of disc 1. On the flip side, the game up until that point is etched into my brain. I know we went weeks without one. #FF7R #FF7

Just the thought of this gives me deep anxiety.

I didn't own a PlayStation when it first came out, so I played at a friend's house. I had deep amounts of anxiety when I wasn't visiting, wondering if they were continuing the story without me.

This is my pre-PS/N64 console experience. A Cousin of ours owned this stuff so every visit became “can we beat sonic before our parents say it’s time to go home?” Also the source of all my PC Gaming prior to 2000. Playing Warcraft 2, Dune 2000, etc as fast as possible.

My mom bought us, my 5 siblings and I, one memory card at first... we all quickly learned we needed one each at least. Oh the days of siblings saving over hours of my games and data corrupted files...

You two got farther than me and my friend did. Asked a PlayStation and Final Fantasy 7 precisely for Christmas from my mom, but didn't have a clue to ask a Memory Card. That Christmas became special nonetheless.
