We had to officially cancel our wedding earlier this week. It’s been hard, but I wanted to mourn the event in a positive way. So here’s all the amazing vendors who worked with us, provided incredible service, offered refunds/discounts, or were just great people.

Our venue:
@TheBruery Terreux. There’s a chance they may lose this site entirely. Craft brew is hurting - support your local breweries with gift card purchases or on-site pickup (if offered). Run pickups on grocery days to limit exposure. Http://www.thebruery.com/ pic.twitter.com/UXEhZ84CNS

Our “guest book” came from WhiskeyMade. Ours already arrived with date engraved, but they offered a ~60% discount on a new one if our date should change, and are working with other couples whose pieces are in process. Https://www.whiskeymade.com/ pic.twitter.com/YjrBsTXhVO

Our outfits hail from Ravenswood Leather. Despite some hiccups with Ashton’s piece, they were extremely swift and responsible when fixing the issues. Gorgeous custom fit gear, and running a sale in lieu of Faire season cancellations. Https://www.ravenswoodleather.com/ pic.twitter.com/00RR0NFd3F

Our cakes were coming from Twinfully Sweet. These ladies were delightful to work with and their baked goods taste incredible. Still looking for an excuse to order anyway - maybe some cupcakes if we can hold a private ceremony. Https://www.facebook.com/twinfullysweet/ pic.twitter.com/qDACqpuceU

Our wedding party are receiving hand-crafted and engraved mugs made by Wondrous Works in Wood. Bloodwood for us, Walnut for our party. We’ll be mailing out these gifts to our friends to enjoy regardless.

Not all the vendors were as kind and gracious as these folks - which is why I want to prop these ones up. They’re all small businesses that could really use your support right now. If you want to help celebrate us, consider picking something up from one of these fine folks.

P.S. We’re still getting married, but with courts closed, we have to wait until we can obtain a marriage license. If you know a private notary with the power to issue in CA, please let me know!

Yes! The main things we’re looking for is someone certified to do a private marriage license and can obtain the paperwork - we live with an ordained officiant who can take care of the rest!
