Long hair is a pain in the ass in a lot of ways, but it's fun to have and be able to style/play around with. Most boys in America probably never got to have their hair longer than a few inches - I feel sad for them not getting that experience

Grew mine out for over 3 years, cut it and I cant ever be bothered to grow it out again. It is a lot of work. If your hair qualifies maybe look at http://www.locksoflove.org :)
