I'm shaking. I was too scared/defeated to speak up in self-defense. He lifted a substantial chunk of his "review" of our game from the text of the game itself. But God it's not like there wasn't warning abt Micuin be now. IGN should have listened sooner & checked more closely. My company was damaged by his shit & what happened to us was comparatively minor!
I can't imagine how his shit damaged content creators who's work was outright stollen + the number of devs who's games were covered innacurate + everyone—pubs, freelancers, employees, families—who are behind the media of this industry

It's insane that their quality standards & fact-checking are so bad that they didn't catch this.
Because this shit causes REAL damage to the LIVES of the people who actually do the work to make content in & around this medium.

Thank you it means a lot. They definitely were. I'll point out that my thread isn't meant to be a defense of InnerSpace. My game had problems, but I want to point to the larger impact IGN & his BS have on devs & creators as a whole. LOTS of people are impacted by lazy & bad info
