I heard this same story at least 5 times from elderly residents of #District22. It is exploitative and just wrong. We need to build more housing and protect our children and seniors!

My aunt’s landlord sold her building and evicted everyone. The new landlords raised the rent from $1700 to $3000. My aunt found a different place to live but one of the families in the building is homeless now. All so a millionaire could get even more money.

When they said she was the most right- wing leader since World War II… they’re talking about Mussolini folks. BENITO MUSSOLINI. The Italian fascist.

.@GiorgiaMeloni’s final campaign message is a wink/a nod to her nostalgic Fascist base: “After our victory, you can raise your heads & finally verbalize what you always thought/believe in” This is how you normalize Fascism, by making it socially acceptable.

This! Where are all the starter homes and downsizing homes? They keep building luxury McMansions people can’t afford!

Congratulations to and the RI Public Utilities Commission for successfully enacting a 47% increase on electricity services (a historic rate hike). As a result, poor people, working families and middle-class households will suffer. This did NOT have to happen!

I just spoke Kastellio Vaughan's family. He's 32, in medical crisis at Elmore prison. The photo (L) was a few months ago. He was having stomach problems from an old injury, underwent surgery in distress, developed an infection and then his family received the photos on right. 1/3

When they put up a former executive at National Grid to chair the PUC, progressive activists and Senators warned that rates would be going up. We were just proven right. Remember this next time a former executive gets nominated to regulate their own industry.

Workers — especially frontline, low-paid, people of color — are rising up to say no more. It's past time they were respected, protected and paid.

Unfortunately we did not win last night, however I am extremely grateful for all of our support and the volunteers who came out and participated in our democracy in an effort to make RI a better place for all. TY to my partner Aaron and CM William for getting us this far!
