You gotta admit they did kinda try too hard lol but TTG has been trying too hard for years so I have no clue why people are surprisedor taking it seriously?

Surprisingly I haven't seen a lot of merchandise for TTG in mainstream marketplaces. The last thing I remember them having was a toyline at McDonald's some two years ago. Just an interesting observation given how popular and long-standing the show is.

Go! merch is kinda rare and is only at most area's

The lack of self awareness from the people who keep complaining is astounding. Yet, they keep wondering why the writers make these episodes. Maybe to, I don't know, make a point? They're practically delivering material for them to joke about on a silver platter to them now.
-
But why not just actually make the show....good instead of just being "self aware" An talking about the critical people lol. Just....write good...that's all anybody wants. Rise of the tmnt was able to get better despite it's bad first impression soooo

I think that TTG is keeping itself alive and relevant from all the hate it keeps getting. You know, like troll culture.

On their defense, they haven't mentioned much Roar when it aired and stop mentioning it but when you see the people behind these shows pull something like this, it will be aware by fans if they are calling out fans and that's not a good look for them.

I agree that scenes like that really suck in how they're written, but that doesn't make me any less hate seeing the OPs fuel the hatedom like they do. I don't care how horrible a single episode out of like 200 is. This is not healthy.

Bad writing should be called out as to not be repeated....or we just get lucky an more shows like DuckTales comes out. Whichever is easier

Cartoon twitter exhausts me honestly. They really don’t grasp that they’re just mocking people who take these shows too seriously. Lion-O literally calls haters “poopy heads”
-
@GloryAnimation is pretty good though, they don't really take anything seriously.
