Can you give some more context around this? (At first blush it seems based in a fundamental misunderstanding of how information security works, but it's easy to misunderstand people on Twitter.)
Does a service exist for early stage founders where you can pay a flat fee and someone comes in and, over a few weeks, handles all the basic security stuff (2FA, encrypting certain database fields, general security education)?

Most early stage companies are moving fast and aren't thinking about basic info sec hygiene. This person or company would come in and handle a bunch of "basics" for them rather than take an engineer or the CTO off of whatever work they're currently doing.

Thanks! I've been thinking about it for over a year since I had to do after a security scare. Took me off product for about 2 weeks to do various security tasks, would have loved to have someone to parallelize that important work.
