Not true. Money flows to candidates irrespective of how many party lines they have. Only would come into play for candidates that only have a minor party line and a minor party primary, which NYC program limits to $5K in public funds given fewer registered voters in minor parties

Just Say NO to taxpayer financed campaigns. NYS cannot afford to flush more taxpayer $$ down the toilet. Even the advocates agree this will cost $200,000,000 per election cycle; that's every other year!!! It will undoubtedly cost taxpayers more than that.

What right does Cuomo have to limit public funding? The point is to remove special interests from access + broaden competition and democracy. A fusion ban + Clean Money, Clean Elections would do so and be cheaper than our current corrupt system. @gpny
