I have gained 15 pounds since the end of October. Now after 2 weeks on thyroid replacement hormone I can barely stand the sight of food, let alone eat it. Please let me off this roller coaster.

It’s interesting how the US invasion of Iraq can be termed as a one-off, a strategic blunder, an intelligence failure, hubris due to the unipolar era, etc & not as a great power willing to undermine the rules-based international order to pursue its perceived national interests.

Fukuyama: “the invasion of Ukraine was such a shock bc in our lifetimes we’ve never witnessed one country militarily invading another.” Chris Hayes: “Well, Iraq.” Fukuyama: “Yeah but…well, ok” 😂😂😂 podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/why

NEW: Today, I’m leading 11 AGs calling for federal action to address the health & safety risks of gas stoves, which emit pollutants that have a disparate negative impact on children & underserved communities and put DC residents at risk of asthma and other respiratory illnesses.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
According to the largest peer-reviewed analysis of any link between gas stoves and childhood asthma (500,000+ children sampled worldwide), there is “no evidence of an association between the use of gas as a cooking fuel and either asthma symptoms or asthma diagnosis.” pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24429203/

Romans stop ruining the coronation by restraining their compulsion to insult other Apostolic branches with their Papal Supremacy takes challenge (impossible).

One more thought: Zelensky relies on "Ukraine as Vietnam"-style domino theory. But there's a big logical inconsistency: If Ukraine must be admitted to NATO so Russia will be deterred from attacking it in future, why is Russia not deterred from attacking the Baltic states now?
