Y’all, I am all about helping Ukraine and stopping any madman like Putin. Always. I ALSO believe that our government is corrupt AS FUCK and this is not all on the up and up. We have sooo many problems at home. Why is more assistance not directed here???!!! 💁♀️

I don't think that is the issue Zack. The problem is Russia. I get your frustrations. It would be nice if we could send troops. However, that leads to WWIII and a nuclear war.

1000% Zac. But also, we aren’t sending them direct cash. When you see that we approved millions for them it’s that we’ve approved million in WEAPONS for them. Not sure what assistance tanks and shit would do here. But agree it’s too much there.

Some is cash, mind you, for humanitarian aide, Ukrainians here in US for some reason, nuclear defense, but majority is weapons. Gotta keep that military industrial complex up and running. 😒

NOT a foreign policy expert but I do know that
1. These one-offs are a drop in the bucket compared to our annual military budget ($1.94 trill), and
2. ’s budget is less than a half a penny on your tax dollar. Is that how much understanding the universe is worth to us?
