A lot of my other complaints are stylistic (overuse/misuse of ellipses, inconsistencies in menus, sloppy/Engrishy graphics)

And while I accept that it's set in Japan, forcing in obtuse questions about Japanese words because "they're in the original" feels lazy :/

Because of the way the sentences are written, though, I basically know what they're saying in JP even without hearing the original lines

Apparently to non-native english speakers the localisation feels fine but I spent the whole game gritting my teeth.
