weight-lifting pals: i think i have to give up on deadlifts? can’t get past a certain weight (this time it was 270lbs) without seriously hurting my back. i go slow, i concentrate on having as perfect form as possible, and i still end up walking like an old man for a week. why?

this is like the fifth time this has happened and i basically have to drop about 100lbs and work my way back up. should i look at different excerxises? and i just too damn lanky for deds?

Hmmmm height and relative core strength might actually be a limitation for you, you might be right!! Have you tried focusing on core instead for a while and coming back to it?

not at all! i’m happy to crowd source advice like this. all of y’all saying to focus on core strength means i should probably focus on core strength!
