weight-lifting pals: i think i have to give up on deadlifts? can’t get past a certain weight (this time it was 270lbs) without seriously hurting my back. i go slow, i concentrate on having as perfect form as possible, and i still end up walking like an old man for a week. why?

Okay erm, a couple things that work for me, viewing myself do a deadlift from a side profile so I can see my backs straight and not arched and my cores engaged. You’re tall so like if you have to elevate the weight then do so you’re getting a larger range of motion as is
