  5. So many replies that poor health and high spending due to decadent lifestyle, obesity etc. This is simply false (explains <5%). We spend more and get less in health because providers charge exorbitant prices and the system is built to deliver expensive care, not public health.

  11. ? The day some doctors are told there aren't enough residency slots for them to finish their training as fully qualified physicians who can care for patients. Since Congress artificially capped the number of residency slots in 1997, we turn away doctors. Unconscionable.

  15. Meanwhile, the # of people *released* from prisons also went down. 10% fewer people were released from prison during 2020 than in 2019, and preliminary data suggests that fewer still were released in 2021.
