Every language has its way of using hyperbaton, so it's as simple as that. Curious fact: In spanish "R2D2" sounds a lot like the diminutive of Arturo (common name), Arturito. So, for DECADES, everyone thought that was his name, at LEAST until the sequels.

He kind of mixes it up in spanish, just like in english

So instead of saying "mi nombre es yoda" (my name is yoda) he would probably say something like "mi nombre yoda es" or "yoda mi nombre es" (my name yoda is/yoda my name is)

All I know is that in French, they call Chewbacca "Chico".

That was only in the original run in 1977. Afterwards they changed many translations (C3PO used to be Z6PO in french, Han Solo was Yan Solo, R2D2 was D2R2...)

In brazilian portuguese dubbed/subbed versions, they put the verb in the end of the whole sentence, sometimes just after the (also misplaced) subject.
