Great advice for staff and students from “Don’t get caught up in the numbers...train movement and the numbers will take care of themselves.”

Coming up I didn’t build a foundation. Just did what coaches thought was best for the program. 4 surgeries later, I’m questioning the methods. Excited to start a new chapter for our boys, and build the base that will guide them down a healthy path

Finally catching up on my emails from break. If you haven't read email on the overemphasis of skill development at the youth and high school level, you need too. It's solid gold! I'd also strongly recommend his book "Movement Over Maxes" for both S&C / sport coaches

One of the most important things as a coach is to not let your ego get in the way of being better. So many simple things I realize I need to revisit with my athletes. you did an awesome job of hitting key points and keeping it simplified. 🙏this book was a blessing

Had to catch up on the ⁦⁩ podcast over the break. No better place to get.....well better. Something I preach daily is the power of CONSISTENCY. Consistency dominates intensity. ⁦⁩ and habits fall right in line!
