fairuse is only fair use when it's done on a company as they aren't hurt by it, random people are, like if i took something from you and made thousands off it would that be fair use? like if i made a video on a viral tweet you made and don't even mention your name would itbegood?

Fair use doesn’t just apply to companies that’s not how it works. Fair use is fair to all not just when you do it against a company

fair use is a my opinions don't invalidate that law doesn't mean i like tha law as it protects people from ripping content off others profiting off others like the top 10 fortnite channels they got wealthy from ripping off random fortnite streamers like ninja is that fair?

And how do you define copying ninja? Is it copying just to stream the same game as him? Or how much does one have to do to consider it copying off him? Fair use is more than protecting people from profiting off others, 1/2

i was referring to taking random clips of his streams and other streamers then making millions of views on top 10 whatever fortnite videos

True, while that doesn’t require a lot of work it does alter the base content to create something new. I assume that would be a grey area for fair use, Maybe if the person was commentating over it would be better.

yeah thats my point it's not fair use it's not fair to do it, the amount of money these channels made by just using other peoples content thats not fair to me

That’s understandable, but how does that relate to this situation? The person in question wasn’t doing anything like that.

fairuse to me is a bad law as it encourages the meaning of using someone, you're taught not to use people the law fairuse protects the people who does it, like if someone takes a picture i took in a game for clickbait content (it happened) thats fair use i can't say anything

That’s not at all what fair use encourages. Fair use encourages the critique, reporting, and altered content. As for someone taking your photo that you took in a game that’s something that’s entirely complicated because who’s to say you should have the rights to that photo?

i took the photo to have someone rip it off and profit off it thats disgusting to me, i ofcourse don't own the rights too it the publisher does but it's still bad.
