    (Update) Frenchtown/Dobbins Rd. in Yuba County. Forward progress stopped. Fire is 75% contained. Approximate size of main fire 70 acres. The spot fire to the north 20 acres. Firefighters will continue to strengthen control lines and mop up any hot spots today.

    For other zones adjacent to them that were previously Advisory status, the Advisory has been removed, but please continue to watch for updates. Crews will remain in fire area through the night, as will Yuba Sheriff Patrols w/in evacuated areas.

    . While we wait for official Cal Fire update for tonight, we want to share latest changes to Evac Map. YUB-E089 and E006 remain under an Evacuation Order (Red) while YUB-E005/093/096 remain in a Warning Status (Yellow).

    Frenchtown/Dobbins Road in Yuba County. Main fire is approximately 70 acres. A spot fire north of the main fire is approximately 20 acres. All resources are committed through the night.

    MANDATORY EVACUATION: Vavassuer Way, Winther Way, Chavez Way, and Brett Way are now also under mandatory evacuation, in addition to current Camper Lane, La Place Lane, and Clark Ranch Road. Evac center now set up @ Alcouffe Center in Oregon House (9185 Marysville Road).

    MANDATORY evacuation for Camper Lane, La Place Lane, and Clark Ranch Road in Dobbins. Winther Way and Vavassuer Way are in an advisement warning at this time. Streets surrounding Clark Ranch Road are under warning status.

    Please be aware that everyone visiting the Cooling Center is required to wear a facial covering. This requirement is part of California Department of Public Health guidance and applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.

    For those needing relief from the extreme heat wave this weekend, Yuba County is opening a Cooling Center @ 5730 Packard Avenue in Linda starting this afternoon. It will be open 2-8 p.m., & will run through Sunday. Those needing transportation to Cooling Center: (530) 749-7700
