Hey @TeamYouTube, is it normal to receive 3 strikes on my account at once due to DMCA takedowns of multiple videos? If the same person is claiming all the videos, should I not just get one strike? It looks like they split it into multiple claims to force my channel to be removed.

Thanks for reaching out. You can take a look at our Help Center article which has more info on *How copyright works*: https://goo.gl/LX6Pgz . Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for the response. My issue is not with how copyright works, it's with someone abusing the system to get my channel suspended, with no repercussions. Can you help?

We can look into it! If you're sure the videos were removed in error, you can file a counter notification, let us know if you've already done that. You can also reach out to the copyright owner directly in search of a retraction, here's more on that: https://goo.gl/VZa5QC

Thanks again for the response. I have both filed counter notifications and reached out to the copyright holder. My issue is not with that, it's with the fact that I shouldn't have received 3 strikes all at once. The copyright holder abused the system to get my account suspended.

We're not actually seeing that your account is suspended, and since you filed counter notifications your channel should be fine until the copyright process plays itself out. Let us know if you're seeing something different on your end.

My account is definitely suspended, I am not able to upload videos due to getting 3 strikes at once.
