@TeamYouTube , I am wondering why view & sub counts have dropped on my channel (and other channels). I've noticed the big drop after abbr. sub count change in Sept. Is this a glitch, a technical issue, an algorithm change? What is the official word?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1VsFRgN4Iw …

Thanks for raising this. Views & sub counts fluctuations are actually normal and you may see this from time to time. YouTube adjusts this around the clock to remove any inactive or illegitimate/spam views. Hope this helps clarify.

I have this problem or issue too. Views are a quarter of what they were on new videos I release. I usually get 12,000 upwards in the first 24 hours, I barely make 4,000 views. Over last year I’ve had about 200-250 subs a day, that’s gone down to about 100, I have 213,000 subs

Thanks for reaching out – to verify that views and subs are real & accurate, YouTube removes inactive or invalid subscribers/views round the clock, so this might be the reason you're seeing some fluctuations, more here: https://yt.be/help/qF2u and here: https://yt.be/help/qF2u

I'm not talking about a drop in a channel's total sub count or view count. (ie: YT's purge). I've noticed that my channel's growth have suddenly dropped. Daily subscriber rate, views per upload, have all dropped sharply since mid-September, despite a consistent upload schedule.

Everyone's channels started dying after @TeamYouTube abbreviated sub counts.
