MPD is arresting protesters who will spend the night in jail while murderer Derek Chauvin will roam our streets freely.

We support protesting, but we will not be promoting the annual Million Mask March on November 5th. Due to the ongoing pandemic. November seems to be a critical time of social distancing for the countries we live in. Feel free to follow other anons who do support the protest.

According to the WHO, only 10% of the world population has been in contact with we need 70% for herd immunity, so we still have a long way to go in this pandemic

We all know you get ads in your feed. We also know that will ignore our inquiries about their bans of Tor users. Until they respond to us, just for fun, we recommend blocking the account of every ad you get in your feed, just for the lulz.

Shouldn't Donald Trump have gotten a temporary suspension at least once by now? Shouldn't trying to incite civil war in the United States count as some kind of rule violation or abusive behavior or something...? Not even a 24-hour suspension for "LIBERATE MINNESOTA!"? Seriously?

We firmly believe that a more nuanced approach can be taken here. And given that every Tor user is still subjected to the same ads as any other user, we've paid our way to be here. or , we'd appreciate a response.

We again want to emphasize that we are sympathetic to the problems that is facing with disinfo bots. But, the approach they have taken has silenced every activist that takes the prudent steps to hide their identity from those who seek to harm or silence them. Why?

In this era, as governments drift more and more towards torture, imprisonment and censorship for nothing more than disagreement, why is making it so hard for activists to use the very tool that protects them from incredible harm? , any thoughts?

A cursory review of an account, that takes less than 30 seconds, can identify a bot. cannot be bothered to do this. They just ignore now. Unless you know someone who works there, which we have at times, your account is dead.

2 generic reasons are always given for bans. The account is either accused of "suspicious activity" or "posting automated content." An option to appeal is given. But, appeals are simply ignored at this point. For admins with this account, it's been over 3 months without a reply.

Each of the above referenced people will have an IP address that either regularly changes, or has registered multiple Twitter accounts, which triggers Twitter's ban filters.

We understand that Twitter has a political troll/misinformation problem, and a number of those accounts use Tor. However, they've recently adopted the approach of banning all Tor accounts unless a phone # is provided, which is a problem for activists, dissidents and the homeless.

Enemies of dissidents absolutely love a phone #. It's an easy way to geolocate a person, which makes the usage of Tor essentially pointless.

[Thread] Facts. and are well aware that they've been infiltrated by a hostile dictatorship at least once. For years, unless you know how to work around Twitter's filters, you can't register an account over Tor without a phone #.

“All evil begins with a verification request,” one of Abouammo’s former colleagues at Twitter joked. , do you see how your requirement for a phone # with Tor is a problem, especially as you ban people indiscriminately?

A number of us that use Tor and refuse to provide a phone number have a reason to do so. We've been suspended by , despite not displaying any abusive behavior. And Twitter has been infiltrated by dictatorships. A problem worth addressing?

And if claims this is paranoid, well, they were infiltrated by agents of Saudi Arabia looking to identify dissidents. And we all know what happened to Jamal Khashoggi. This isn't a joke.
