@shandro I'm struggling with your logic. Exactly how is significantly cutting doctors' overhead funding & forcing doctors to choose between earning a viable income or best serving patients investing in the "best care for patients?"

The foundation of a strong health system is primary care. Family doctors provide this in their offices. “The best care for patients” is high quality comprehensive family medicine. It is our job.

Are you kidding me? The proposed cuts will 100% cause suffering & death. Mark my words as a paediatric Emerg RN and cancer survivor. I know both sides of health care. I’m utterly disgusted with Kenney and this government.

How does cutting funding for physicians in any way serve patients better? How will patients be served when they don’t have a FP or can’t get an appt?

This fools no one.

Cutting funds across the board, decreasing care for everyone, and removing resources that are already scarce is not helping the people of Alberta. No one is going to believe this.
