no, that's capitalism. YouTube has nothing against gay/trans videos, some (not all) advertisers do. YouTube can't force companies to want to advertise on something they are against...
And that has nothing to do with money v.s. saving lives, these videos are still allowed, you just make less money uploading them. But is that the main goal of these videos, to make money promoting LGBT rights?
Some people who make these videos need the money for a living. I'm sure YouTube could have an opt-out policy letting advertisers choose which types of content they don't want to be associated with. Right now they're not even trying.
