France: Wolves, bears and lynx?
Spain: Wolves, bears and lynx
Switzerland: Wolves, bears and lynx
Germany: Wolves and lynx (bears on the way)
UK: Wolves?
Bears?
Lynx?

The difference is space. Wolfs and bears need an enormous amount of space to roam. Scotland is the only place in the UK were that is remotely possible. Strong case for Lynx though.

Plenty of space in the Highlands and the Cambrian mountains and the Pennines for lynx. Boar and beaver are already returning/being returned. All of these species exist on the Continent. Bears would be a stretch, and wolves, but everything else on this list can be welcomed back.
