The ONS have said that the start of old age can be said to have shifted from 65 to 70. We found last year that age 70 was the point by which most Britons consider a person ‘old’. (It’s 48 for middle age, and most say you stop being young by 30) https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2018/03/06/how-young-are-young-people-and-what-age-does-perso?utm_source=website_article&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=how_old_old …pic.twitter.com/jREwZAf96S

Neither young, middle-aged or old, just in your prime "adult" years.

Don't the majority of people aged 70+ who think 74 is middle aged ever wonder why all their friends keep dying and their grandkids don't visit them

So between the ages of 30 and 48 you're no longer young but you're not middle aged.. ...You're just waiting to be classified 🤔

How about we settle for "young-ish" fully mature adult? If one is neither middle-aged nor "old" I can't for the life of me think what else they could be called.
