The ONS have said that the start of old age can be said to have shifted from 65 to 70. We found last year that age 70 was the point by which most Britons consider a person ‘old’. How about we settle for "young-ish" fully mature adult? If one is neither middle-aged nor "old" I can't for the life of me think what else they could be called.
