What exactly about punctuation I wonder?

There are lots of ways to look at this. The deaf person that brought this to my attention was mostly referring to mistakes in it or the lack of it in captions, that makes understanding harder for the deaf/HoH.

What could possibly help here is adding the editor /corrector to the UK live subtitling workflow instead of relying on one person-respeaker only. Just like in some other countries.

This would help with accuracy but would have increase the latency. I personally find the latter more disturbing.

My first thought: you're right. But then again is it the case that latency is shorter in countries which use "respeaker only" model as opposed to "respeaker+moderator"? UK vs Belgium for instance?

I believe in Belgium they delay the signal, no? A good comparison would be France vs the UK and according to Pablo the difference is 3-5 seconds...

Good point! Do all broadcasters in Belgium delay their signal? @MrApollo? But aren't there more than two people involved in France? And the language is tricky too. Any other country?
