One difficulty faced by non-native English speakers is knowing when -ass modifies the meaning of the preceding adjective (smart-ass, hard-ass) and when it doesn't (weird-ass, fancy-ass.)
Many Russians would tell you that if instead he moved to Russia, he could stretch something like this into an hour. (Not sure if I count myself among the Russian profanity supremacists; I think this needs quantitative analysis.)
