I never get what defines "capitalism," in the colloquial sense. That money exists? That you can buy things? That you have to pay? That prices are "too high?" That someone is richer than you?

Same with socialism. For me, capitalism is a usurious attitude. I'm gonna get my profit and fuck everybody else. I think the world is not gonna do so well if we don't change this attitude.
For me, socialism is a parasitic attitude. I'm gonna get my welfare benefits and fuck everybody else. (Doesn't invalidate your point, just adds an equally valid one.)

Yeah. I think to really make it work, you have to throw more welfare at people than is enough to survive on, along with some kind of education that you have to strive to improve your situation. I think the government should endeavor to rehabilitate failure.
