You are saying that "talent" is attracted to management. Talent of which sort or nature?
The problem with outsized compensation for managers is it attracts talent into management, where at best it's wasted and often does harm.

All sorts of talent goes into management. I'm not saying it finds uses there, just that it goes there to die.
