Do you think corporations are like lifeforms, that want to survive, grow and multiply?
I guess about as much as Emacs wants to survive, grow and multiply... Or as much as shadows of animals survive, grow etc.

Well, emacs is a tool. A corporation is a network humans, who each individually need to survive, and for that they need money.

Humans perform tasks within the corporation, like organs. The corporation gives them money to sustain them in return.
