Voting only works if many people don't care about politics. Those who care are loyal to a side. Shitty leaders are dethroned by swing votes.

"Caring=identity" could be a rhetorical swindle. But I really haven't met those caring about politics and switching sides.

I switch sides all the time. All parties in Sweden are identity@politics driven crap, best to rotate them.
