Voting only works if many people don't care about politics. Those who care are loyal to a side. Shitty leaders are dethroned by swing votes.

Caring makes the thing a part of your identity by definition. IMO "100% identity politics" is when 100% of the voters care.

I care about the truth/science. No parties seem to. So that leaves me outside a "side" as far as parties are concerned.
