You hear a lot about the employee disengagement problem, but never about the company disengagement problem. I guess employees not giving a shit about the company has nothing to do with the company not giving a shit about the employees.
This would raise wages of those crazy enough to work given a basic income, but this is not how you get company management to give a shit, just like higher wages don't make employees give a shit by themselves.
