For the first time in my life I didn’t follow my instincts on that front and got heavily screwed. Sometimes priced for perfection is just that.
Engineers' perennial problem is that they always sell their employer's stock, having seen the underbelly and unable to unsee it. Then it turns out their competitors are much worse, the stock soars, and they can't unsee the new price

Ouch! But wouldn't you say that you trade securities pretty well when they aren't your employer's stock? That's my broader point, which I personally can't quite illustrate, trading everything terribly
