      Owl holes are often found high up in the apex of a barn gable wall, to allow owls into the building to keep down the rodent population. These examples are from Yorkshire.pic.twitter.com/HSIshTM13h

          Apparently they will eat up to 12 mice a night so pretty effective rodent control. These are fantastic owl holes beautiful.
